RESULTS ARE HERE.
Kansas' defeat of Memphis means that our very own Jim Mowrey
has managed to somehow capture 1st place. The pool is now
concluded, but we look forward to your participation in our
NFL pool this fall, and next year's NCAA pool. Thanks once
again to all participants!
NOTES:
1. To fill out the bracket, just click on the
name of each team you think will win, in each matchup. This
will populate your bracket.
2. Make sure to enter the Total Points for
Final Game so we can break ties.
3. You need to provide us with some way to
get in touch with you in case you win, so don't rely on our
memories - use the comment box at the top of the sheet to
tell us an e-mail address, phone number, or address!

The way the payout is scheduled, it is
possible for one person to win 100% of the pool funds. If
said person were to take an early lead and remain on the top
for the duration, he or she would win the entire pool. It is also
possible (and more likely) that the lead will change a few
times in the course of the pool, allowing multiple entrants
a share of the total.
Next Year's Payout Structure:
The NCAA Pool has concluded with Kansas'
victory over Memphis; next year's pool will feature a
different payout structure - the paragraph below is
illustrative of how we intend to handle this:
At the end of Round 2, we pay 25% to the top scoring
player. Thereafter, there are no payouts until the
tournament is done, at which point we pay a 1st and 2nd
place (45% and 30% respectively).
All of our pools are zero-profit, zero-administrative-fee
pools. 100% of all entrance fees is returned to the players
in accordance with the rules and results of the pool. |
