Quadrant is a Louisiana-based
manufacturer of ball & butterfly valves and actuators to
operate these products. Located in Broussard, Louisiana (a
suburb of Lafayette), they operate from a 22,000 square foot
facility which houses manufacturing, engineering, sales &
marketing and all support services.
Quadrant's focus is the
design and cost-effective manufacture of intrinsically safe
seal-welded ball valves,
which eliminate the hazards associated with two-piece,
tail-loaded ball valve construction. Quadrant offers 7
models of seal-welded ball valves, in a range of working
pressures from 1000 to 11,000 PSI.As an extension
of the seal-welded designs, Quadrant has developed the ONLY
full line of ASME B16.34 AND API 608 compliant ball valves
in Class 900, 1500, 2500, and 4500 (the highest ASME B16.34
pressure class). These products allow users to fully comply
with the ASME Piping Code, which require the use of
compliant valves in affected facilities.
In Flanged-End Ball Valves, Quadrant excels. The valves
are available in a Unibody or 2-piece design, in sizes from
1/2" to 10" and classes from ASME 150 to 600. Every flanged
valve is Fire Safe (API 607 5th), NACE Compliant and ASME
B16.34/API 608 Compliant. These valves are designed with a
"modified square" stem and submerged stem packing to provide
direct mounting of ISO 5211 Compliant actuators and gear
operators with no interface hardware.
Butterfly Valves in three separate product lines help to
flesh out Quadrant's offerings. Available in sizes from 2"
through 48" and in wafer and lug styles, these butterfly
valves are in compliance with both NACE and API 609
standards, have a Category A Certification from the US Coast
Guard, and offer a patented ISO5211 top works to allow
direct mounting of actuators and operators with no interface
hardware.
In 2007, Quadrant expects to unveil a new
High-Performance Butterfly Valve to allow for high pressure
dead-end service as well as other unique applications.
