The purpose of a vent valve is to work in tandem with a
thief hatch to minimize the escape of light ends of crude in
lease storage by maintaining a pressure on the tank. A
vacuum relief function is also standard to prevent a suction
or draw down from collapsing the tank. The vent valve is
installed into the vent line exhaust to accomplish this.

All high-tensile-strength aluminum body, lid, and flange.
Full-opening lid and large body cavity for easy clean-out
and maintenance.
Clip-in pressure seat for easy replacement in the shop or
the field - vacuum seat replacement is even easier.
Internal plunger with a built-in vacuum breaker, or
optional plunger with no vacuum breaker for a pressure-only
valve.
Dependable stock levels at the factory.
Available in 2", 3", or 4" slip-on ends with standard
settings of 1.5 oz pressure and 0.4 oz vacuum with
additional weights available in 1-oz increments. |
