Drillmax, Inc. stands for Maximum Drilling Technology. The
experience driving Drillmax can be traced back to 1984, when
the President (Brad Cress) and Engineer worked for Crestex,
Inc. The initial focus at Drillmax was to improve upon the
existing Float Valves on the market, in every area possible.
To provide longer life and an overall superior float valve.
Drillmax has accomplished that goal and now manufactures the
best float valve available. Among the features found on a
Drillmax float valve:
*High alloy cages and increased wall thickness (on some
sizes).
*Made from 1018 Steel and Heat Treated (improves wear
characteristics, adding a lot of life to the body of the
valve).
*All cages are coated with Xylan Fluoropolymer Coating,
1400 Series (provides a long life-span coating).
*Other parts are coated with Xylan Fluoropolymer Coating,
1052 Series (to greatly decrease friction among moving
parts).
*Greatly increased stability and strength, while not
sacrificing parts-interchangeability with Baker and Crestex
valves.
In addition to the Float Valves, Drillmax also offers a
Demco-style Shear Relief Valve and the repair parts for it,
and heavy-duty, large-size Gate Valves.
