A synthetic lubricant for valves, swivel joints, pumps and flanges in service on sour gases and crude oils. Used worldwide in applications where hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide are present. Desco 111 has a high metal adhesion, corrosion resistance, and is waterproof.

It is recommended for service involving acid solutions, aliphatic hydrocarbons, diesel fuel, hydrogen sulfide, sour crude, sour gas, sulphonated oils, and water.

Desco 111LT Hydrogen Sulfide Service - Arctic Grade

Chemola 111-LT is designed for use in valves under arctic conditions (to -75 F). 111-LT is extremely resistant to hydrogen sulfide and will not mix with water, preventing freeze-up in the valve. Imparts good metal protection, provides lubrication and is waterproof.

Desco Cold Zinc Galvanizing Aerosol

A high-solids coating that bonds to metal and corrosion; can be painted over after allowing to cure for six hours under normal conditions.

The coating is equal to hot dip, is easy to use and is long lasting.

Desco Cold Zinc Galvanize meets the following specifications: MIL-P-46105; MIL-P-21035; MIL-P-26915A and MIL-T-26433.

Clean surface thoroughly. Remove grease and oil with Safty-Solvent, remove paint, and clean surface. Sandblast heavy rust or mill scale, or wire brush light rust deposits.

Several thin coats are more effective than one thick coat. Drying can be accelerated with hot air or oven curing. Store in a cool, dry place. Shake can vigorously before each use.

Desco Green Wellhead Pak - Wellhead Crossover

This proprietary packing formulation has been developed primarily for the energizing of elastomer seals in crossover bushings in wellhead applications.

It has also been used quite successfully as a packing energizer in blowout preventers.

A blend of silicone oils and inert synthetic fibers allows for lubrication and the necessary bridging capabilities required.

Desco MAG-EP2 is a general purpose non-melting lubricant with suspended molybdenum disulfide for special wear characteristics. Contains special additives for EP characteristics, corrosion inhibition, and oxidation protection.

Its superior anti-wear and anti-seize properties are derived from this special formulation, which also provides great stability in the presence of acids and water.

It is recommended for high-temperature bearing applications, king pins, ball joints, slides, gears, screws, kiln car bearings, and ladel hinges.

Desco Marine Grease

Desco Marine Grease is a product designed and formulated to offer superior lubrication, protection from corrosion, and excellent water resistance. Useful for all marine environments, both fresh and salt water, it offers complete lubrication under the most rigorous conditions.

EP additives, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors are prestent to support a most effective lubricant.

Desco Open Gear Lubricant

Desco has produced a special purpose, polymer-based lubricant formulated for open gear applications, which is designed to have excellent adhesion to wet or dry surfaces and good water washout resistance, with special anti-wear and EP properties.

The extreme tackiness leaves the lubricant in the higher-wear, high-loading areas for best lubrication of gear surfaces. This makes it a fine choice for the legs on jack-up rigs. The product uses solid lubricants, non-melt thickeners and polymers along with EP and anti-wear additives. Contains molybdenum disulfide and lead.

It is recommended for open gearing, slides, sprockets, gear boxes where oils are impractical, and other gearing where exposed to corrosion or adverse atmospheric conditions.

Desco Red Bentone Hydrocarbon Grease

This grease offers the ultimate in a general purpose lubricant with the added property of extreme pressure lubricity. It is compounded from a blend of the finest material and synthetic oils, coupled with an inorganic gelling agent.

Red Bentone Grease offers additional protection to meet today's high performance requirements, and is recommended for king pins, ball joints, bearings, slides, gears, universal joints, and screws.

Desco Super Penetrant with TFE-Fluorocarbon

Super Penetrant is a clear, all-purpose industrial penetrating oil. It is a scientifically formaulated penetrant and rust cutter designed for maximum penetration to give faster breakout.

It can be used for all sismantling jobs throughout the plant, shop, rig or whatever metal parts are hard to operate or are frozen by corrosion.

The carrier fluid is a non-caustic, highly mobile solution that moves quickly into the pores and crevices of the metal surface and acts as a vehicle for the other ingredients.

Because Super Penetrant is non-caustic, it will not damage the metal andcanbe used with safety on aluminum or fastenres attached to aluminum structural members.

The fluid that loosens the oxides is a fast acting solvent that pries corrosion products from the metal surface and suspends them in the carrier fluid.

Once the corrosion products have been loosened from the metal surface, the third fluid moves in to protect and lubricate the metal.

Two types of lubricants are found in Super Penetrant. The first is an extreme pressure oil that plates quickly onto metal surfaces. This allows the threads to be loosened while all metal surfaces are lubricant coated to prevent galling. The second lubricant is micron-sized particles of TFE-Fluorocarbon that act as millions of ball bearings to make the break out easier.

Super Penetrant contains a fourth ingredient, a rust inhibitor, that protects surfaces once they have been briken out. The inhibitor is so efficient that many use Super Penetrant as a protective coating for reshly machined surfaces. This product should not be confused with ordinary penetrating oils. This premium penetrating oil handles your easy jobs, your hard jobs, and your impossible jobs.

Desco Super Q Sol - Steam Cleaner and Rig Wash Concentrate

Super-Q-Sol makes a solution that will penetrate and remove all types of grease and grime normally encountered in industrial and commercial cleaning jobs. Low foaming penetrants and boosters quickly cut grime, and emulsifiers retain and float away residue for a like-new finish.

This products will not clog jets or lines in power equipment with undissolved powders that were not successfully premixed.

Super-Q-Sol concentrate is a complex, biodegradable liquid detergent that is most effective with high dilution ratios of water.

It is formulated for steam cleaners and power washers, but equally effective when applied by rag, brush or spray. It is an excellent rig wash.

Super-Q-Sol is a controlled sudsing detergent that will handle the cleaning needs of large floor areas with power scrubbing equipment. It is efficient and economically mixed in the solution tanks of power scrubbers.

Super-Q-Sol exhibits controlled sudsing to promote efficient pickup with good scrubber operation; the solution performs with high dilution ratios to strip or emulsify grime on floors and equipment with a minimum of soak time.

A normal dilution ratio of 1 to 50 parts water is recommended but ratio will vary from 1 to 20 parts water up to 100 parts water, according to water properties and floor conditions.

The cleaning solution is non-flammable and can be used in hazardous plant areas.

Desco TAP (Total All Purpose) Concentrate

A biodegradable liquid cleaner that is effective even at a high dilution rates. USDA accepted for use as a general cleaning agent in all departments of official establishments operating under the meat, poultry, shell egg and egg products program.

TAP was originally formulated to clean carbon residue at coking operations.

TAP can normally be used without the use of protective gloves; concentrate is not known to cause industrial dermatitis.

TAP is environmentally safe. This unique formulation dissolves grease and grime without the use of harmful solvents.

TAP is low foaming and compatible with septic tanks, plant and municipal sewer systems. It performs best in hot water, but will effectively clean when diluted with warm, cold, hard or salt water.

TAP will clean marine equipment from galley to lavatory to tanks, engines and bilges.

TAP solution is safe on anything not harmed by water.

APPLICATION

It may be applied by brush, mop, sponge, cloth, power washer or steam cleaning equipment. Do not apply to very hot surfaces. Water quality and temperature will affect the solution¡¯s cleaning power.

It has achieved wide acceptance as an effective cleaning solution that penetrates, emulsifies and removes animal fats, vegetable oils, petroleum bases, dirt and grime from food processing machinery and facilities.

Desco 110 Therm-O-Plate

A high-temperature, waterproof, non-melting, extreme pressure general purpose lubricant and protective coating for other threaded or exposed metal valve surfaces.

Therm-o-plate 110 is brushable and pumpable. It has a nonflammable, synthetic base and contains no lead, copper, silicones or fluorolubes. It can be used with aluminum and stainless steel.

It will not dry out and remains in a plastic-like condition for long periods of time. It is especially useful in marine and corrosive atmospheres where remote or automatic valves must be ready for use at all times, yet must have an efficient lubricant and protectivecoating to prevent valve stem corrosion and valve failure.

Therm-o-plate 110 functions as a high-temperature lubricant to 450 F, as a dry film lubricant to 1800 F, and as a protective coating to 1000 F. It is an excellent anti-seize compound.

Therm-o-plate 110 has a high affinity to metals and is resistant to heat, wear and corrosive environments. Also resistant to moisture, water, salt spray, chemical fumes and steam.

Therm-o-plate 110 forms a hard, tenacious, protective lubricant coating with heat-cool cycles above 1000 F.

Desco Therm-O-Plate 220

Therm-o-plate 220 plates onto metal surfaces to withstand heat, pressure, wear and corrosive environments.

Therm-o-plate 220 is water repellant, chemically resistant and non-gumming. It has no known dropping point and features a synthetic, water-resistant base that will decompose at extreme temperatures, providing dry film lubrication.

It contains no particles of lead, copper or molybdenum disulfide, so it is suitable for use with stainless alloys at high temperatures.

Therm-o-plate 220 is a blend of lubricants, each with its own effective working range. It will give continuous service in journals and other loose-tolerance bearings thru 350 F (177 C).

Throughout this range it is a plastic-like brushable compound that can be applied to hot surfaces without flaming or obnoxious fumes. Therm-o-plate 220 begins to depolymerize above 350 F (177 C) as thermal decompositon points are exceeded. Micron-size dry film lubricants are plated onto metal surfaces to 1800 F (982 C).

The dry film functions well under slow heavy-load conditions. A special additive will keep hot metal surfaces from seizong and galling from 1800 F (982 C) to 2200 F (1204 C).

It is soluble with hydrocarbon and chlorohydrocarbon solvents and insoluble with polar solvents such as water, ethyl alcohol, iso-propyl alcohol, acetone, methyl-ethyl-ketone and glacial acetic acid at ambient temperature.

Therm-o-plate 220 is excellent for use with heavy, slow-speed slide applications. It is outstanding for journal and loose-tolerance bearings where binding could occur due to plating of micron-size particles on the metal surfaces. Bearings should not be overpacked as Therm-o-plate 220 works best as a thin film lubricant.

Desco 75 ThredOn PTFE Thread Sealing Compound

DESCO ThredOn 75 is a PTFE paste with a carefully selected blend of synthetic lubricants and inert fillers, diluted with low toxicity organic solvents that dry slowly to form a soft-set flexible thread sealant.

ThredOn 75 is formulated to provide leak and thread protection for pipes andfittings and permits easy nondestructive disassembly. It is formulated to form a positive PTFE seal with easy brush application on all connections.

ThredOn 75 does not contain lead or toxic heavy metals and will not harden in the tightly closed container.

The flexible ThredOn 75 PTFE thread sealant and lubrixant will give excellent service in acids, ammonia, aliphatic solvents, brine, hydraulics, pneumatics, aie, carbon dioxide, caustics, jet fuel (JP 4,5,6), diesel fuel, gasoline, Freon*, manufactured gas, steam, natural gas, and hot and cold potable water.

Recommended for thread and gaskets on steel, iron, brass, copper, aluminum, stainless, FRP, polyethylene, fiberglass, ABS, PVC, CPVC, or cycolac tubulars.

Desco WLD 120 Wire Cable Lubricant & Dressing

Desco WLD-120 is a non-petroleum synthetic base, fast-penetrating, adhesive, thin-film, extreme pressure, light-bodied wire rope lubricant made for easier pour-on or drip system application without heating. It will not throw-off, melt or run in hot sun, steam or high temperature service. It reduces internal and external friction, abrasive wear and bending stresses.

Desco WLD-120 is nonflammable, non-corrosive and can be used by personnel in hazardous industrial applications. It is fast penetrating and free-flowing at -50F (-45C) and will penetrate old caked-on protector lubricants.

Desco WLD-120 can be used on iron, galvanized, stainless or plow steel strands. The special non-hardening synthetic lubricant has an affinity for metals and provides a waterproof covering against corrosion from weather and most highly corrosive chemical atmospheres. It is ideal for use with IWRC, hemp and polypropylene centers.
